Planning a Coupon Trip to Walgreens! Finally!

Its been 3 weeks since I've been able to do a decent couponing shopping trip. With the holidays and the move I haven't had time. Fortunately some of the weekly ads weren't all that great, so I don't feel too bad about missing things. I looked last week at Walgreens (my main store to coupon at) and it stunk so I'm super excited for the deals starting tomorrow!

I'll post back on here my "game plan" for my own reference and for anybody else who stumbles upon this site.

Sick Babies are Frustrating...

So I don't know if the broccolli I ate last night made the situation worse, but Gabriel was up constantly last night arching back and screaming....that's usually a sign that he's got gas. But he's been sick with a chest cold that I lovingly gave to him so I'm sure that played a role. You'd think that at 9 months when Mom eats broccolli he wouldn't be so affected by it!

This morning he is whinywhinywhiny and its kinda driving me nuts. Because he wants to be held but then wants to get down. His cough is much worse and I considered taking him to the ER but after I put Baby VapoRub on his chest and back it seems to have settled down...

He also developed diarrhea yesterday so we're trying some Pedialyte. Yeah, he's not a fan. I did force him to drink about an ounce but felt too bad about doing it since he was trying to get away from me as hard as he could. I also have had to suction out his boogies, force tylenol down his throat and constantly wipe his runny nose. So in general I'm the enemy right now :)

We have absolutely no plans for New Years. We're so lame. I don't even care though....I guess its not a big deal because we don't party or drink so the "fun" that others experience is lost on us. Any ideas on what we can do in a small city where we know no one and have a baby to deal with too? Yeah, didn't think so...

Planning on going into Sioux City tomorrow for church and most likely visiting the 'rents. I really don't think its good for Gabe to just be at home with me all the time. Before I'd take him out a lot and go to different stores to coupon, visit Grandma at her work, or drop by and visit Grandpa. I guess I'll have to suck it up and look into a Mommy and Me group. I might also creep back into the La Leche League group for some adult interaction that isn't coming from the tv.

Gabe's hungry and crying, so gotta run....
